We try to answer questions daily. Questions are not posted until they are answered.

Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

Joann Sleadd from Kalispell, Montana wrote on December 21, 2014:
received Cowboy Christmas as a gift the musical function plays so soft it cannot be heard unless one holds their head touching the figure, is this a problem with all of this issue or is it just mine. The store where my husband purchased it had three, but when we called them they said they had no more, I find it hard to believe all were sold, so I am going to drive into Kalispell and check it out. I love it, but it would be even better if the function would work. Please let me know if anything can be done to make the sound a bit louder, at least to hear it without putting your ear to the figure. Thanks, Joann Sleadd
Response From Trailmaster:
We're sorry that the musical function doesn't play louder. This is the first complaint that we have had. Unfortunately this piece was so popular that it sold out, and we did not stock extra music boxes.

I bought a couple of the blank pony casts, and would like to use Sculpey on them. Are these casts safe to bake?
Response From Trailmaster:
To be perfectly honest, we have not put the resin Paint Your Own Ponies to the oven test. What we would recommend is glueing the hardened Sculpy to the resin form.

Is there ever a chance that their will be a true nativity scene pony? my mother loves collecting nativity sets and it would be neat if you had a pony/donkey with that.
Response From Trailmaster:
We did have a true Nativity Scene on a Holiday Pony in 2013. We decided to do it a little differently this year.

I am trying to order a "Trotting paint your pony" kit, but whenever I click on it, it tells me the page is not found. I do not have this issue with the other two kit, but I would really like the trotting pony. Is it still available?
Response From Trailmaster:
Unfortunately, the Trotting Paint Your Own Pony is Sold Out. We'll let everyone know when we produce a new Paint Your Own form.

sandra from England, UK wrote on December 06, 2014:
I have noticed that 3 of my ponies have higher numbers than those made...how can this be? I buy from a reputable company
Response From Trailmaster:
We rely on the manufacturer for this information, and when we transitioned to a new manufacturer in 2011 some of the numbers because unreliable. If you email info@trailofpaintedponies.come with the numbers you have, we will look into this. Sorry.

What happened to the the busts of Painted Ponies. We have two. How many styles were made? Have not been able to locate any other styles.
Response From Trailmaster:
We produced a limited number of busts back in 2004 and 2005, and have not produced any since.
