We try to answer questions daily. Questions are not posted until they are answered.

Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

I would like to replace a broken pony but cannot find it online. It is blue and had a Christmas tree and presents and grandfather clock on one side with a room of people with tall windows and the other side is a castle with a princess and others ice skating . Santa and a sleigh with a reindeer is on the ne neck. Any idea??
Response From Trailmaster:
I believe the Pony you're referring to is "Nutcracker Pony," which was retired a number of years ago. Best bet is to check for one on eBay.

Is there a book (i.e. coffee table size) that has all of the painted pony figurines in it?
Response From Trailmaster:
We used to publish a coffee table book that had all the Painted Pony figurines in it, but stopped in 2009 because no sooner would the book come out, than it would be out of date becuase we were constantly coming out with new Ponies. We looked into Print on Demand, which would allow us to update frequently, but the photographic quality of Print on Demand is not especially good.

I served in the Army and I am a veteran. About 3 or four years my mom bought me one of your ponies. It was white with two America flag poles on the sides and it had all 4 branches of the military on it. My has passed away. And it was somehow lost in a recent move. I was wondering if you had any more like it. I really would like to have another to replace it.
Response From Trailmaster:
I believe the Painted Pony you refer to is "Trail of Honor," which includes the patches from each of the United States Arned Forces: the Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard. Unfortunately this Pony as been retired for quite some time, but you may be able to find one for sale on eBay. Sorry to hear your mother has passed away and hopefully you can find a replacement for her gift to you.

Is there a way to view past entries in the different art contests that you have?
Response From Trailmaster:
I'm afraid we don't archive those pages. If there is a specific design or artist that interests you, we can try and call up that for you. Inquire at: info@paintedponies.com.

I recently saw a car magnet that looked like a Painted Pony. Are these available?
Response From Trailmaster:
For a limited period of time, ten or so years ago, we did come out with a line of Painted Pony magnets. Today they are rare, when they can even be found.

A woman recently gave me her entire collection of "The trail of Painted Ponies." I have an entire car load and they are all in great condition. Any advice on how to sell these?
Response From Trailmaster:
The best advice would be for you to go on eBay and see what Painted Ponies similar to yours are selling for. And then price yours accordingly. Good luck.

do you have any painted ponies that represent autism?
Response From Trailmaster:
Over the years we have had several designs submitted with an autism theme, but none yet have been selected as figurines.

Rodeo Dreams Figurine is 2nd ed has on it 2/ but no number why and would this be rare>
Response From Trailmaster:
Hopefully it's rare, because it is a mistake. All Painted Ponies should be hand-numbered on the bottom of the base. The fact that yours is missing a number makes it an anomaly, but it does not add value from a collector's standpoint.
