We try to answer questions daily. Questions are not posted until they are answered.

Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

Why are some of my 1E My Trail of Painted Ponies coming up with the answer that they are no longer on The Trail of Painted Ponies "Official" Site. They say everything on the bottoms and have the same boxes as my other 1E The Trail of Painted Ponies Horses. Please Explain.
Response From Trailmaster:
What you may be encountering is a response that says they are no longer available for sale on the Official Store because they are sold out, retired, and/or no longer available through our site.

Pls do you still make polar express as I have broken mine and would like to reorder a replacement?
Response From Trailmaster:
Sorry, but the Official Store is long sold out of "Polar Express" Painted Ponies. You might check in eBay.

Will the Santa Pony Christmas tree ornament be avail to buy before Christmas 2016?

The Santa Pony ornament was part of the 2014 Holiday release, which has sold out. You may be able to find one on eBay.

Will the paint your own pony kits be restocked?
Response From Trailmaster:
Yes, we have a new Paint Your Own Pony kit in production. We hope to have it available by October, in time for the Holiday Season. The Pony form will be different from any of the previous ones. Stay tuned.

I have found a bust (?)#12373 of Sky Enchantment 1E/1,115...but this is a bust on a pedestal? I cant find this anywhere on your site?
Response From Trailmaster:
For a short period of time, back around 2004, we experimented with Painted Pony busts on pedestals. Some collectors loved them, and we did too, but in the end there were not enough fans to justify continuing with the line. You bring up an interesting point, however. Perhaps we should have a place on our website where we post examples of every product category that The Trail has ever explored! I think collectors would be surprised. It could even revive interest!

Where can I find "Legends of the Plains" statue from Trail of Painted Ponies?
Response From Trailmaster:
Your best bet is eBay. The Official Store is sold out.

Lorraine from England wrote on April 27, 2015:
I would like to know if 3 ponies I have are worth anything without the boxes? I have Route 66, Happy Trials and a red orange black and white saddle ponie, they are all discontinued
Response From Trailmaster:
Serious collectors will always pay more if the Ponies come in their original boxes, along with the story cards. But you may find someone who is happy with the figurine alone, or in the company of several others.

I am moving and was wondering the best way to pack up my painted ponies so they do not break. I have about 12 of them.
Response From Trailmaster:
Wrap them individually and generously in bubble wrap, then fit them snugly in a large cardboard box that is padded with bubble wrap, and do not put anything heavy on top.

I have 3 ponies and would like to know if they are collectable and worth anything, 1st one is Route 66, 2nd one is Happy Trails, 3rd oneis najavo pony blanket, I sadly have no boxes as got lost at grandparents house, I just need some advice please?
Response From Trailmaster:
Happy Trails and Navajo Blanket Pony would be the two most collectible of the three, because they are much older. It's possible that someone who already has these but has a much higher edition number, and has the box they came in, would be interested. We're hearing that a number of collectors are looking to upgrade their collection in this way.
