We try to answer questions daily. Questions are not posted until they are answered.

Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

Can you tell me if there was a pony created called Fantasia? I think it was black & white, maybe a Christmas pony
Response From Trailmaster:
This was a custom Pony created by one of our artists, and has not yet been crafted as a figurine.

I was given a statue painted bright blue with stars and Suns on it several years ago. It was stolen from me and I would like to replace it but cannot find it in your catalogs. Can u help ?
Response From Trailmaster:
I believe the Pony you are talking about is titled "Sky of Enchantment." That figurine was retired in January of 2006 and is very rare. Your best bet for finding one is to look on eBay. Good luck.

I have for sale 12 1E Ponies. Like new black box with foam and tags. Should I sell each or as a collection?
Response From Trailmaster:
Not knowing which Painted Ponies you have, I think you will have better luck selling these pieces individually. It will probably be easier to find a buyer looking for that special figurine to add to their collection that you have, than to find someone looking to pick up the exact twelve Ponies you have in your collection.

Hi are you guys going to release anymore I see the last pony released as a Ceramic was Festival of Champions back in 2011.
Response From Trailmaster:
We do not currently have plans to release any more ceramic Ponies. We ran into some quality control issues with the company we were working with, and have been unable to find another company to replace it.

Carmen Mulvey from Australia wrote on May 09, 2016:
Can you please tell me the story of Large 9" Ponies. As all Ponies also made in 9". Thank you Carmen
Response From Trailmaster:
Over the thirteen years we have been crafting Painted Ponies, we have experimented in creating Ponies of different sizes than the popular 6" to 7" figurines. We have gone smaller - the Happy Trails Collection - and we have gone larger, i.e. the 9" Ponies. Unfortunately, none of these alternative sizes caught on with collectors. When they don't, we discontinue the line.

Is there a painted pony for wedding?
Response From Trailmaster:
Yes. If you click on Shop and go to our Official Store, then enter Wedding Wishes in the Search feature, a Wedding Pony will show up for sale.

Are there Instructions and/or Competition rules for The Coloring pages competition? If so, where might I find them, Please?
Response From Trailmaster:
We are not conducting a competition with the coloring pages, at the moment. We are just providing people with the opportunity to color a Pony, and we will be changing the image each month.

I bought(and paid too much for) Little Big Horse for my wife who has a sizeable collection. How can I tell from the box which of the 3 editions I have?
Response From Trailmaster:
Edition information is not part of Painted Pony packaging. Please read a description of the different editions in the Q&A.

How can I get a Bay Mare with Foal printed in the past but no longer on your list?
Response From Trailmaster:
The Pony you ask about - "Stand By Me" - is temporarily out of stock on our official store. We are expecting it to be available again in about a week. Please check back then.

Jorge from Canada wrote on April 30, 2016:
What are they made of
Response From Trailmaster:
Painted Pony figurines are solid-cast in an artist-grade resin. We have made some in ceramic, but not in years.
