We try to answer questions daily. Questions are not posted until they are answered.

Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

What is the name of the horse designed as a train engine? Is it still available?
Response From Trailmaster:
This Painted Pony has not been released yet. Look for it to be coming down the track in the Spring of 2012.

do you have SUPER CHARGER figurine in stock?
Response From Trailmaster:
Unfortunately, this is a retired Pony, our Official Store has sold out and the two that we have in the Vault are being kept for archival purposes. Your best bet would be to look on eBay.

Storm Rider is listed as "out of stock" on your website. My local store (Paul's Flowers/Millis, MA) doesn't have any available. If I purchase on-line thru the website, will it be shipped when more are made?
Response From Trailmaster:
The response to "Storm Rider" has been overwhelming, which is why our official store is out of stock, as well as your local store. More are being created so yes, if you purchase on-line, as soon as more come in, your order will be filled.

I received a Painted Pony Pegasus for Christmas this year. Its called Silver Lining but could not find any info about it on your site. When was it released, what is the value and is there more to that particular series... and omg fell in love with the Unicorn pony... may I please please have it for Christmas... so pretty :) but I guess I need to pay for a furnace repair first before I can even think of saving up for the unicorn... I collect Unicorns in real life as well. I would appreciate any info you do have though abt the Silver Lining Pegasus :)
Response From Trailmaster:
"Silver Lining" was part of the Winter 2006 release and the design was created by Star York, a Santa Fe sculptor who created three of the four Trail of Painted Ponies horse forms. You can find out more information about his inspiring Pony by clicking on COLLECTORS at the top of the homepage on our website, then clicking on Collectors Checklist.

I would like to buy sume unpainted ponies, in all the old and new styles. How do I do this?
Response From Trailmaster:
Right now we are only offering the running and the rearing Ponies as part of the Paint Your Own kits. Some artists who have wanted to paint the other forms - standing and walking - have gone so far as to purchase one of those figurines and sand off the finish.

I have read that you recommend super glue to repair a broken pony, however I was wondering if there was someone I could send my pony to? My Poinsettia Pony (#12257; 1E 8.702) that I only display at Christmas time took a bad tumble, the bottom of the box gave out. It has several good cracks and one hoof is off the base, but nothing has actually broke off the Pony. Thanks.
Response From Trailmaster:
A veterinariam for Painted Ponies, in other words? Not a bad idea. Unfortunately, we don't know of anyone so we are unable to make a recommendation. But if someone reads this who is interested in the job, let us know.

Michelle from Texas wrote on December 20, 2011:
I have received Painted Ponies in the past as presents, so I was wondering if a Pony has been retired and sold out and is also part of the summer release of Painted Ponies in 2003 is the Pony very valuable? The main Pony I'm talking about is "Happy Trails". Also, what about "Sky of Enchantment"? It is also retired and soldout, but part of the winter release of 2004.
Response From Trailmaster:
Both of these Ponies are Retired. Depending on their edition number, "Sky of Enchantment" is probably the more valuable because it is older and there were fewer castings.

KATHERINE NOEL MUMFORD from SAN LEANDRO, CA wrote on December 14, 2011:
I have a few ponies marked as 1E/ or 2E/ with no number. Also "Pre-E" ponies which have a number but no edition. Are these also manufacturer's samples? Thank you.
Response From Trailmaster:
There could be a couple of explanations. If you would kindly take pictures of the bottom and identify the Ponies, and send this to info@trailofpaintedponies.com, we will analyze them and get back to you.

Has there been a horse with a railroad motif?
Response From Trailmaster:
Stay tuned. There is a sensational one coming down the track that was a winner in the recent Painted Pony art competition.
