We try to answer questions daily. Questions are not posted until they are answered.

Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

Is the Iron Horse available for purchase?
Response From Trailmaster:
Neither the Official Trail of Painted Ponies Store nor our manufacturer have any more "Iron Horse" figurines. Your best bet would be to check with local stores who may still have one on their shelves, or eBay. Good luck.

I have a small collection of about 12 horses. I am adding the ponies to a much larger collection of horses that was once my grandfathers horses. I am curious if there is a price guide to find out what the value of the ponies are, not only for sale, but also insurance purposes
Response From Trailmaster:
There are so many factors that influence the going price on any collectible that we have not felt that we could create a credible price guide for Painted Ponies. The retail price it was purchased for should be the starting point, and you might check eBay to see what other collectors are willing to spend above that.

When and where will the next exclusive 6” figurine be available?
Response From Trailmaster:
We create "exclusive" figurines rarely. The last one was for Dixie Stampede. At this time we are not having discussions to create another, but if the right opportunity came along, that could change.

I just love the painted pony with the bunnies ( Hop a-long) on it. Is this one available for purchase?
Response From Trailmaster:
We have not yet crafted "Hop-a-long" into a figurine.

How can I get my Spirit Pony repaired?
Response From Trailmaster:
Sorry to say, we do not have a horse hospital when it comes to broken Painted Ponies. Our advice would be to take it to a local crafts store and see what they suggest.

i was wondering if when we were one by yellowman was ever going to be released
Response From Trailmaster:
Since "When We Were One" was created as a life-size Painted Pony, I don't think there has been another Pony that has been requested as much as this one. But Yellowman has told us that he does not want it reproduced as a figurine, and we must respect his wishes.

Would the Trail every consider doing a car tag? Maybe with the Trail logo on it.
Response From Trailmaster:
We aren't sure there would be a whole lot of people interested in this particular category. But if you would like to have one custom made, we would be glad to give you permission and provide you with the artwork.

Margaret Marquis from Anthem, AZ wrote on April 03, 2014:
Is there an exhibition that still tours to see the life size originals? Are they in a museum somewhere? Are people still producing the large ones? Where can I see them?
Response From Trailmaster:
There was a time when we talked about a national tour of the life-size Ponies that were publicly displayed in 2001 and 2002. Logistical and insurance issues made that impractical. Today the life-size Ponies are scattered. Two are on display at the Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville, Georgia, the Fallen Heroes Pony is beautifully presented at the Hall of Flame Museum in Phoenix, and the Roswell Pony can be seen at the UFO Museum in Roswell, New Mexico. These are just a few of the places where the original Ponies can be seen today.

how do i get ceremorial pony
Response From Trailmaster:
The Official Store has no more of these Painted Ponies, nor do any of the collectors we know who run online stores. Your best bet is to keep an eye on eBay.

What was the name of the painted pony signed by jockey Angel Cordero
Response From Trailmaster:
We aren't sure. If there was a Painted Pony signed by the jockey, it was probably done through someone who knew him, or to benefit a charity.
