We try to answer questions daily. Questions are not posted until they are answered.

Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

Is there a link on the website to start a wish list? So family and friends can purchase ponies as gifts.
Response From Trailmaster:
In the Q&A section of our website there is a Wish List link. Also, on the Official Store, all products have a Wish List option but you will need to create an account.

Have you ever done popular racing thoroughbreds? Or will you ever consider making these famous horses?
Response From Trailmaster:
Yes, we have done a number of racehorse Painted Ponies. The challenge that comes when you create a Pony that features famous horses is that, without permission, you are limited as to what you can do with their likeness, and using their real names.

I have a Life size Painted Pony "JACS" 2004 Esther Simonson(artist)I looked up online only to read an article about "Jacs" and 3 other Ponies that all for ponies were Vandalized 2 of which were destroyed and could not be fixed. These Ponies estimated value $3400.00 and were to be Auctioned off at The Mayor of Temecula fund raiser. "jacs was auctioned off at this event. The Gentleman that won bid is how I found and own Jacs. The question I have is if Jacs was destroyed and is taken off list of being a Certified Painted Pony. Jacs is almost mint condion . He was not destroyed. I want him to be re certified with some type of explanation . You can look at newspaper story 2004 Painted Pony Project Temecula Ca. Thankyou I hope you can answer this question
Response From Trailmaster:
In the years 2001-2005, there were a number of public art projects mounted in cities across the country. In fact, we published a hardcover book on this subject called "American Art Parades." And some of these cities - Louisville, Lexington, Ocala, and Temecula - featured the horse as the mascot. None of these had anything to do with The Trail of Painted Ponies, however, which was based out of Santa Fe, New Mexico. We created our own exclusive horse forms, and we are the only equine public art project that went on to create figurines. Sorry we can't be of more help.

My son was given a pony titled Native Jewel Pony. I know it is now retired, but is the only one he has and he no longer wants it. How do I let people who collect these ponies know it is for sale? About how much do you think it might be worth?
Response From Trailmaster:
We would recommend you post this Pony for sale on eBay. Not knowing its condition, its edition number, the state of the packaging, how much in demand it is, it would be hard to say what you can get for it. See if there are similar Ponies for sale on eBay, and price it accordingly.
