We try to answer questions daily. Questions are not posted until they are answered.

Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

Terre smith from Jacksonville Florida wrote on September 18, 2019:
I am assuming that the 1E and 2E are edition numbers. I have 2 ponies from 2003 with no leading 1 or 2 before the serial number what does this mean?
Response From Trailmaster:
That means that these two Ponies were created before The Trail assigned edition numbers. They are rare, and in the eyes of serious collectors, they are considered most valuable.

I have item #12270, Summer Ballet, but base has no release numbers, can send image if needed ... is this item for real?
Response From Trailmaster:
To date, we have not experienced any knock-offs of Painted Pony figurines. On rare occasions, however, release numbers have been missing. Since they are numbered by hand, when this occurs it is usually due to human error.

Beverly Porter from SC wrote on September 01, 2019:

Ruth Street from Houston, TX wrote on August 20, 2019:
Do you have a price list for painted ponies which are retired?
Response From Trailmaster:
There is no set price list for retired Painted Ponies. As with any retired collectible, pricing depends on a variety of factors. Popularity of the original design. How many were created. Edition number. Does it come with original packaging? Condition. How badly does someone want to add it to their collection.
