We try to answer questions daily. Questions are not posted until they are answered.

Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

Response From Trailmaster:
Put together a list of your Ponies, their condition and edition number, and send it to: rikki@paintedponies.com. We will let you know if we know of anyone might be interested.

I am looking for standard size woodland brave and storm rider. See them on your website but will not bring them up to buy.
Response From Trailmaster:
Storm Rider, which is one of our all-time bestselling Ponies, sold out over the holidays but we should have more available very soon. As for Woodland Brave, we have experienced some quality issues with this piece that we are currently investigating to see if they are isolated or common to the entire release. We stand by our quality, and if necessary we will replace the entire release from scratch. If this is the case, it will not be available until the Spring.

I moved up where we live now un 2006 my mother got my first painted pony for me it was Silverado with the name tag on the base of where the horses feet rest on..I came up here with it but they are saying it came out in 2007.. I really am lost ...i know my Mom got it for me before 2007...is that possible?
Response From Trailmaster:
The date on the base refers to the date when that particular Pony was cast, not when it was first released.

Does Dillards not carry the painted ponies anymore? I traditionally buy them each Christmas season and especially like the ones exclusive to Dillards.
Response From Trailmaster:
Dillards used to carry all the Painted Pony figurines until they redesigned their in-store offerings in the Home Department and stopped carrying collectibles in general. But they so liked Painted Ponies that they decided to carry the four Holiday Ponies plus one Holiday-themed Pony that is designed exclusively for them, and is available only at Dillards stores.

Response From Trailmaster:
There were two Nutcracker Ponies made. The first was made of ceramic and came out in 2004. The second, titled "Nutcracker Sweet," came out last . year, in 2018, and was a Dillards exclusive.

Found a piece at a goodwill and just curious about any info I have not been able to find out any information through my searches. 4E/6205 Item No 1467 Renewal of Life
Response From Trailmaster:
This Pony was created by a New Mexico artist by the name of Natasha Isenhour. It was originally life-sized and a part of our 2002 public art project. When discussing her inspiration, she talked about magical landscapes and "A dawn seen through mists hovering over the Rio Grande that flows through a bird sanctuary in southern New Mexico." This artist has a unique ability to create a spiritual luminescence that invites the viewer to enter a meditative space that seems to live inside her art. It was retired in 2007.
