We try to answer questions daily. Questions are not posted until they are answered.

Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

is there a horse to do with the dinosaur age as my daughter loves horses and dinosaurs so I was hoping to combine the two??
Response From Trailmaster:
We have received a number of great dinosaur designs on Painted Ponies, but we have not created any figurines with them. Sorry.

where can I find a painted ponie called country Christmas?
Response From Trailmaster:
If we don't have one in our Official Store (which has a Search feature), your best bet is eBay.

What was the original price of the 2E QuarterHorse? I have #1156.

Depending on where it was purchased, around $40.

Are the prices in the Shop all Us taxes included???
Response From Trailmaster:
We do not charge or collect taxes on international shipments. Our charges are for shipping only. All international packages are sent by Global Priority Mail, and the recipient country will typically charge Duties and Taxes, which we cannot estimate.

I am looking for the Silver Lining Painted Pony, is it still available?
Response From Trailmaster:
That was a very popular piece that sold well and has long been retired. Your best bet would be to look on eBay.

How is the "standard edition" different?
Response From Trailmaster:
To look at them, "standard edition" figurines are the same as every other figurine. They are not different castings. What differentiates the Autographed and Blue Ribbon Editions are the first is hand-signed by the artist who created the original design, and the second has an especially low edition number. Both of these are perceived to have more value by serious collectors.

Do competition ponies eventually become figurines? i.e the fawn, holiday winners, ghost riders. I have seen many designs and many of them are amazing.
Response From Trailmaster:
Some do, some don't. A variety of factors go into the decision which competition designs are crafted into figurines. One consideration is the complexity of the design and the cost involved in translating a drawing into a 3-D figurine. And even the ones we do want to move forward with may have to wait their turn. But in general, a lot of the figurines we create do come out of competitions.

i was googleing the painted poneys and say that you let ppl enter there own art! my ? was had you all ever thuaght of a childs art work? as a contest. some of these kids come up with amazeing stuff" if you ever did that id love to enter my step duaghter hole class and let them tri to paint you something awsome" those kids are allwes makeing amazeing things at school art wise and i think theyd love to do something like this. there all littler kids but they sure are super cute and talented for being kinder and 1st graders. my ste duaghter is 1 of the teachers for our after school program that helps kids not be out on the streets an gives them something else to do with there free time after school hours while waiting on parents who work so many hours due to income. its been a great program and the kids love it. and id be thrilled to get them into something such as designing there own painted poney for you all!
Response From Trailmaster:
This is a great idea, and one that we support wholeheartedly. Indeed, with every competition we hold we receive a large number of designs from young people. Also, teachers will incorporate our art competitions into the classroom. With our most recent competition we received two large envelopes full of submissions from students. To all, we respond with a Certificate, and yes, we continue to hope for that sensational design that will translate into a figurine so we can honor the talents of a young person. Please encourage any teachers you know to contact us and we will discuss ways of working together.

I inquired about the broken painted pony given to me in the years 2009, 2010 or 2011. It had a western theme reminiscent of the Wells Fargo Stagecoach horses. Hope this helps. Thank you.
Response From Trailmaster:
Yes, that was a ceramic Pony named "Stagecoach Pony." These are very difficult to fix in a way that looks good. Your best bet is to look for a replacement on eBay.
