We try to answer questions daily. Questions are not posted until they are answered.

Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

Is there a miniature version of the "colt of many colors"? My best friend and my daughter collect the painted ponies and they both loved the movie and have both seen the life size colt and I think it would be a great addition to their collections.
Response From Trailmaster:
Unfortunately, not yet. There have been many discussions with Dolly Parton's team, a number of whom would very much like for there to be a "Colt of Many Colors" figurine, but for whatever reason, the green light has not yet been given.

How many 2004 clydesdale snow globes were produced?
Response From Trailmaster:
When "Christmas Clydesdale" was created as a snow globe, we were working with Westland Giftware as our manufacturer. Westland has since gone out of business, so we no longer have access to that information. Sorry.

I have a 1E of Love as strong as a horse with no number on it ?
Response From Trailmaster:
Human error. Because each Painted Pony is hand-numbered, unfortunately there are sometimes mistakes occur and details are overlooked. Sorry.

Is there a pony named Jazz Up?
Response From Trailmaster:
Not officially. Someone may have created a custom Painted Pony from a Paint Your Own Pony kit and so named it.

Is there a downloadable checklist/inventory for PP owners to log their collection. PP# etc. for both ownership & insurance purposes? Thank you
Response From Trailmaster:
There is a Collectors Checklist that you can download and print on The Trail of Painted Ponies Official Website. Under the COLLECTORS menu at the top of the screen, select COLLECTORS CHECKLIST. There is a section on the checklist to add notes about the edition number, or other information you would like to keep track of.

first off this is my second email to you first time never got answered. What is the value of Sample pieces? I have acquired a store !E sample and are looking for more info.
Response From Trailmaster:
If I understand you correctly, by Sample pieces you mean Painted Pony figurines that were not part of an official edition. We sometimes offer Samples - figurines at an early stage in the approval process - to non-profits who ask us for donations, and we sticker the base with Not For Sale. If this is what you have, its value is whatever someone is willing to pay for an unnumbered Painted Pony that they like.
