We try to answer questions daily. Questions are not posted until they are answered.

Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

Interested in the Cowboy Christmas Holiday Centerpiece. How do I order and what is the cost please? Thank you Rona
Response From Trailmaster:
The Cowboy Christmas Centerpiece can be ordered from our Official Store, whcih is easily accessed from the home page of our website. The price is $150, and because we offer FREE SHIPPING on orders of $75 or more, there would be no charge for shipping.

My Appaloosa mare is now 26 years old. She really excelled in barrel racing and pole bending in her day. She is one of those special horses that is a once in a life time blessing. I was wondering if there are artists that would be interested in painting a 9" pony like her? Thanks, Donnette Judd
Response From Trailmaster:
We will pass this request along to a couple of the Trail of Painted Ponies artists who have done custom Ponies for collectors before.

In a couple of ads on ebay, Wildfire and Karuna were listed as 1E HTF. Could you tell me what the HTF stands for. Thanks Roxie
Response From Trailmaster:
I've looked into this and cannot find what you are referring to. Please copy and send to info@trailofpaintedponies.com and we will look into it and get back to you.

I was interested in purchasing a signed special edition of "big ben" to be released at the end of the month. i was wondering how many of those were left and if is possible for me to order the lowest signed 1E you have? Would it be a good piece to add to my collection of only 1E? Also since he is a special edition how many of him are going to be made? thanks Shannon
Response From Trailmaster:
There are still some signed Special Edition "Big Ben" figurines available to be ordered from The Vault, but the inventory changes daily so you may want to purchase one soon. (877-459-5701) All are 1Es, under number 0500. No decision has been made on how many will be produced - it depends on how popular this piece turns out to be during the Summer Olympics in the UK. I think it would definitely be jewel in the crown of your 1E collection.

Several years ago I fell in love with one of the ponies that had a young girl leaning forward and hugging its neck but I can't remember what it was called or if it was life-size or figurine. Please help! Thanks!
Response From Trailmaster:
The name of this Painted Pony was "Dreams Really Do Come True." It was a life-size Pony that was part of our original public art exhibition in Santa Fe. It was created by artist Leigh Gusterson of Taos, who made a full body plaster cast of her 13-year old daughter, Azalea. You may be interested to know that this image was the inspiration for one of the figurines featured in Horse Whispers, a new series we are coming out with in the spring. I really love your figurines and was wondering if you could tell me where they are made?
Response From Trailmaster:
The original Painted Ponies are all created here in the United States. The figurines are crafted by artisans in in Southeast Asia, who consult with us throughout the production process - from the sculpting to the painting. A final sample is then sent to us for our, and the artist's, approval.

Brenda Sharp from Palm Bay, Florida wrote on February 02, 2012:
We have a War Pony that has no #. It was purchased for a grandchild many years ago at Busch Gardens in Tampa. We also have a Kitty Cat Ball (2004) that is marked as Childrens Prayer Pony (1E/0800). Are these of any value? We have collected over 100 ponies over the years and truly love each of them.
Response From Trailmaster:
Your "War Pony" could be very valuable if it is one of the pre-editions. Inadvertently, the first 3.600 castings of the original "War Pony" figurines were not numbered and today they are prized by collectors. If you want an opinion, take a photo of the bottom of the base and send it to: info@trailofpaintedponies.com. As for "Kitty Cat's Ball," it has been retired for a long time, which means it too is valuable. That it appears to have incorrect information on the base is an anomaly that does not add any particular value.

May I ask if the Gold pony that was on display at the Atlanta Trade Show is one of the ponies that was giving for the National Awards that was called The Pony awards.
Response From Trailmaster:
No, the gold Pony you saw was part of the display, offering contrast to the Painted Ponies.
