Calling All Artists...

2023 will mark the 20th Anniversary for The Trail of Painted Ponies. It's been 20 years since the very first Painted Ponies figurine release was announced, which was Winter 2003. For that special year, The Trail would like to include a NEW 20th Anniversary figurine of a to-be-determined theme, PLUS a NEW 20th Anniversary Holiday figurine and ornament.

DEADLINE: OCTOBER 31, 2021. Winners will be announced in November 2021.

Prizes

1st Place - $750 cash prize
2nd Place - $500 cash prize
3rd Place - $300 cash prize

Please note that all cash prizes will go towards the design fee that is payable to the artist, if the winning designs are chosen to be crafted into Painted Ponies figurines.

Judging Criteria

Designs will be evaluated for beauty, the skill with which the design is rendered, the creative use of the horse form, the originality of the design and the concept or story behind the design.
